Get Neural is a monthly meet-up for people who build with AI. Agents, automations, products, tools that do a job. One a month, alternating online and in person.
The format is simple: a short talk from someone who builds with AI for a living, then the room gets into it. The subject doesn't change much. Where is this going, and which of the new tools and models are actually worth using.
It starts in the West Midlands and online, with the aim of growing it into a national network over time.
It isn't a conference, and it isn't a place to sell. It's builders comparing notes.
One person talks for ten or fifteen minutes about something they've built: what worked, what didn't, what they'd do differently. No pitch, no product launch.
Then the room talks. Whatever people want to get into. Which new models are actually worth using, which tools have earned a place in a real stack and which turned out to be a good demo and not much else. If you're stuck on something, bring it along.
There's one rule: no pitching. Nobody sells anything. Talk about your work as much as you want, just don't try to sell it.
You build with AI around a real job or a contract. Agents, automations, a tool one industry needs. You've shipped something that works and you've run out of people to talk to about it. Your colleagues think it's clever, but the people who'd really get it are scattered across group chats in other time zones.
That's who this is for.
There's a second group too, and they're why the network is worth growing. People who run businesses and spend their days on admin own the problems your tools solve, and those problems come with real budgets. Most of them don't know you exist. Getting them into the room is the plan, so that sometimes the person you're talking to is the person who hands you work.
One meet-up a month, alternating online and in person. The in-person ones are in the West Midlands, around Leamington Spa and Birmingham. Each one is its own event with its own speaker.

No, but you need to be building. A half-finished agent that saves you an hour a week counts. A production system for clients counts. An idea you haven't started doesn't, yet. The discussion assumes you build, so the room will be better for you once you do.
They alternate. One month online, the next in person in the West Midlands, each with its own speaker, so no two in a row are the same. Come to the ones that suit you, or all of them.
No. There's no sponsor, no course, no software with a free tier waiting at the end. The no-pitching rule applies to me before anyone else. If money ever changes hands, it'll be a stated price for the meet-up itself and nothing else.
